To help us track it down, please include: your iOS version, your SnapCal version (shown on the Settings screen), a screenshot of the issue, and the steps to reproduce it.
Getting started
- On the home screen, tap "Add an event from a screenshot," or use the system Share menu in any app to send an image to SnapCal.
- Wait for the AI to read it, then review the title, date, time, location, and description it pulls out automatically.
- Check the fields, edit anything you need to, and pick the calendar to sync to.
- Confirm, and it's written to your calendar. Done.
Managing your subscription
Your subscription is handled by Apple. To view, change, or cancel it:
- Open Settings on your iPhone → tap your Apple Account at the top → Subscriptions.
- Find "SnapCal" to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.
- After cancelling, you keep access through the end of your paid period, then drop back to the free plan automatically.
Refunds are handled by Apple — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Troubleshooting
Recognition is off or missing fields?
- Keep the screenshot clear and complete, with the date and time fully in frame — don't crop out the important parts.
- The result is a draft for you to confirm — every field can be edited by hand before it's written.
- For relative phrasing like "next Thursday," double-check that the exact date the AI worked out is correct.
Seeing a timeout or network error?
- Check your connection and try again. Long, complex images take a bit longer to read.
- The app includes a Network Diagnostics tool (Settings → Diagnostics) to help pinpoint connection issues.
Events not syncing to Google / Outlook / Apple Calendar?
- Make sure you've authorized that calendar, and that you ticked it as the sync target before writing the event.
- If the authorization has expired, sign back in to that calendar account.
Out of free credits?
- The free plan includes 10 per month, and your credits reset automatically each month.
- Need more? Upgrade to a monthly or annual subscription for unlimited recognitions.
Privacy & data
To learn how we handle your screenshots and calendar data, read our Privacy Policy. Deleting the app clears the local data on your device; for any further data requests, just email us.
